Preheat grill to med heat. Spray grates w/ nonstick cooking spray or rub lightly w/ oil.

Place salmon fillets, skin-side down, on a plate. Sprinkle salmon generously w/ salt and pepper. Then lightly sprinkle on about 1 T of brown sugar.

Place salmon on grill, skin side down. Cook for about 5 minutes.

Flip salmon and grill 5 more minutes or until salmon flakes easily.
