Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.
Place butter in a mug. Melt in a microwave by microwaving in 30 second increments.
Meanwhile, place crackers in a resealable, gallon bag and smash with a rolling pin or heavy spoon until crumbly. Add in cheese and garlic powder; shake to mix.
Brush both sides of chicken with butter.
Add buttered chicken, one breast at a time, to cracker mixture and shake to coat. Place on prepared baking sheet.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken cooked through and no longer pink inside.
