Cut butter into chunks and put in large microwavable bowl. Microwave on high in 30 second intervals until butter melted.
Meanwhile, spray a 13x9 baking pan w/ nonstick cooking spray.
Put cookies in a resealable bag and smash w/ rolling pin or heavy spoon until roughly crumbly (need about 2 cups.)
Add marshmallows to melted butter and stir to coat. Microwave the mixture for 45 seconds, stir, and then continue microwaving in 30 seconds or marshmallows melted.
Add cereal and 1 cup of crumbly cookies to melted marshmallows. Stir well.
Press marshmallow mixture into the prepared baking pan before sprinkling remaining cookies on top. Press cookies into rice mixture it needed to secure cookie pieces.
Cool completely before serving.
