Preheat grill to med heat and brush oil on grill rack.

In one shallow, small bowl, melt butter in microwave (microwave in 30 second intervals.) Mix in panko bread crumbs.

In a second, shallow small bowl, pour buttermilk.

Dip salmon in buttermilk then press crumb mixture evenly on top.

Place salmon, skin side down, on the grill. Cover and cook 10 to 14 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
