Season steak generously with salt and pepper.

In a cast iron skillet (or other heavy skillet), heat oil over med-high heat.

Add steak and cook 2-3 minutes or until browned and seared. Flip and cook another 2-3 minutes or until cooked to desired doneness (2-3 per side for medium rare.) Remove steak from pan and tent with foil.

Turn heat down to low and add butter. Once butter melted, add garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, for 3-4 minutes or garlic lightly browned.

Slice steak into thin strips and drizzle with butter.
