Preheat oven according to package directions for cooking cupcakes.

Line 24 cup muffin tin w/ liners. Place an Oreo cookie in bottom of each.

Make cake batter according to package directions and pour over cookies. Bake according to package directions for baking cupcakes.

Let cool for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack to cool completely.

When fully cooled remove liners, cut cupcakes half-way through and fill w/ heaping spoonful of whipped topping spooning a bit more on top. Serve.
